Among the children, only Ms. Nurul Shahfiqah, daughter of Warrant Officer Mohd Shahrizan Mohd Termizi, currently attends Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). Dr. Zambry revealed plans to extend support through free SSPN accounts, a national savings scheme for higher education. "Our data identifies 21 children still in school who will benefit from this initiative," he affirmed, highlighting the collaborative efforts to facilitate contributions from various agencies.

All aboard were pronounced dead at the devastating scene, confirmed by naval authorities.

The helicopters were engaged in rehearsals for the upcoming 90th Navy Day parade, marking the first joint rehearsal for this significant event, as detailed by the defense minister. Mr. Khaled, addressing reporters during a press conference on the same day, revealed that nine of the ten naval personnel lost were under 40 years old, with the youngest being 26 and the eldest in their 40s.

Among the casualties, the HOM helicopter carried four male crew members, including Commander Firdaus Ramli, commanding officer of the 503 squadron, along with three female passengers. The Fennec helicopter accommodated three male crew members, including Commander Muhamad Amir Mohamad, commanding officer of the 502 squadron.
